Stylistics: fresh, fruity, floral taste with a very light touch of chamomile. A wine that is well balanced, attractive and with sultry ripe notes. A surprising meal wine!
This dry, white wine from the Goruli Mtsvane grape variety is a serious wine. This winery (Winiveria) is not only known for its beautiful chateau where Georgia's jet set are welcome guests (and even famous actors from America, among others). But especially for the beautiful bottles that contain the even more beautiful wine.
The wine is very light in color and has a slightly floral nose. Furthermore, it has a pleasant attack and the taste is fresh, fruity, floral with a very light touch of chamomile. The wine is well balanced (the acidity is nicely equal to the aromas and aftertaste) and the whole makes an attractive wine with sultry ripe notes.
Furthermore, this is an excellent meal wine that can be paired particularly well with fish, but also with veal. Famous Dutch site Proefschrift also tasted this wine with an old Zaanlander cheese and was very enthusiastic about it (read the piece here: https://spraak.nl/herfst-en-winterwijnen-aan-tafel/)
