A noble dry red wine from the rare Saperavi Budeshuri grape, crafted using the ancient Georgian qvevri method. The aroma reveals black cherry, blackberry, and spice, while the taste reveals rich berry flavors, soft tannins, and a long, elegant finish. Pairs perfectly with grilled meats, lamb, and aged cheeses.
Budeshuri is a rare clone of the famous Saperavi grape, characterized by larger berries, increased aromatic complexity, and soft tannins. Wines made from it are typically more elegant and refined than classic Saperavi, while retaining its characteristic richness and aging potential.
Fermentation and aging in qvevri allow the wine to fully reveal the character of the grapes and terroir. The constant natural temperature of the amphora contributes to the development of a complex bouquet, deep structure, and high gastronomic value.
Aging Potential: 3-8 years after bottling, and even longer if stored properly.
