A rare dry white wine made from the indigenous Georgian grape variety Khvishkhuri. It boasts vibrant aromas, juicy fruitiness, and elegant freshness. A fine example of modern white wines from Western Georgia with a European character and Georgian soul.
Khvishkhuri is one of the oldest and little-known varieties of Western Georgia. It is prized for its expressive fruity aromas and ability to retain freshness even in warm climates. Wines made from this variety are typically more aromatic than those made from Tsitska and lighter and airier than those made from Krakhuna. While Tsitska is often reminiscent of austere northern Italian white wines, Khvishkhuri is closer to the aromatic white wines of the Loire Valley or northern Italy: more fruit and floral, less austerity, and greater pleasure from the first glass.
