Grapes: Approximately equal parts Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot, combining the structure and tannins of Cabernet with the softness and roundness of Merlot

Region: Trajan's Wave – one of the warmest and sunniest terroirs in the country, producing ripe, full-bodied red wines

Color: Deep ruby ​​or dark ruby, sometimes with a violet hue when young

Aroma: Generous – ripe cherry, wild berries, blackcurrant, dried fruit (prunes, raisins), with light notes of spice, vanilla, and chocolate

Taste: Full-bodied yet soft: a round attack, ripe, moderate tannins, well-integrated acidity that supports the fruit profile. The taste reveals hints of wild berries, cherries, and dried fruit, with occasional hints of black pepper, chocolate, and a slight smokiness. The finish is medium to fairly long, with an emphasis on dried fruit

Serving temperature: 16–18°C; serving slightly warmer enhances the aroma, and the wine can be briefly racked in a jug before dinner to soften the tannins

Food pairing: Pairs well with beef and pork dishes, baked or braised meats, pasta with meat sauces, pizza, hard and semi-hard cheeses, and charcuterie
