We've once again brought back Lidsky kvass, a popular beverage.
Kvass is produced by fermentation and has been popular since the early 20th century, with its first mention in documents dating back to 1920. During the Soviet era, Lida kvass was widely available and could be seen in yellow barrels on trailers.
Kvass is produced in Lida, Grodno Region, Belarus, from artesian water, sugar, kvass wort concentrate, and yeast. It contains no preservatives and has an alcohol content of no more than 1.2%.
